Candidate Portal Module — Business Requirements Document
This document compiles all business, functional, and non-functional requirements for the proposed Stellar Candidate Portal. The requirements herein are synthesized strictly from authorized project documentation, including the Stellar BRD, System Architecture Reports, and Candidate Portal Stakeholder Q&A sessions.
Document Overview & Purpose
The primary objective of the Stellar Candidate Portal is to provide private exam candidates and their guardians with a self-service digital platform to browse upcoming Cambridge/Edexcel exam series, select components and option codes, submit verification documents, request access arrangements, complete online payments, and access official exam timetables and results statements.
This portal replaces fragmented manual manual intake forms with an integrated, secure workflow tied directly into Stellar's central administration system.
